The Gypsy and Traveller Unit in London will be holding their next Stakeholder meeting in Birmingham on Tuesday 25 March. If you can attend, please email /ring Katie Burton on 0207 944 3966. They pay expenses, but you have to fill in a form when you get there and it takes about 4 weeks. (To speed things up, bring your NI number and your bank details)

The Next Meeting of the South West Task Force on Interim Provision will be held 24 April. Our hosts are Taunton Deane BC. The agenda is still being set, so call or email Lorena Fernandez on 0117 900 1888 with your ideas on what we need to talk about and to book a place. As always, we can accommodate about 50 people, so it is first come first served with apologies.. Our keynote speaker that day will be Qaiser Razzak, Head of Equalitites and Human Rights South West.

SWANomads has bid for some funding from the Equalities Interim Fund for three good ideas, including a film on the New Traveller way of life and a mobile office / classroom to get projects and information around the South West by taking it to fairs, horseshows, etc. If we are successful, we will know by the end of March.
